Job core Function:

Responsible for the execution of accounting department objectives and the compliance of the accounting activities with the predefined policies, procedures, and standards in terms of overseeing the daily accounting staff activities, monitoring the accuracy of bookkeeping in ledgers, continuous control of the trial balance, following up on the completeness of accounting data, assuring in meeting deadlines of reports related to receivables, payables, cash and bank positions, inventories, and periodic complete trial balance and financial reporting.

Qualifications & Other Requirements

• The candidate should have a university degree in business accounting-related disciplines, with a minimum of a bachelor’s equivalent.
• CMA is a plus
• At least five (5) years in a similar role or the equivalent of a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience

• Good command of English; Arabic is a plus point
• Ability to organize and control national/international accounting systems
• Sound knowledge of fiscal laws and regulations
• Good Knowledge of IT tools, MS Office, accounting software, GP a plus
• Dependability, ethics and integrity
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized and methodical
• Emotional control
• Able to work independently, but promote effective team player/working
• Ability to lead & develop staff
• Know how to delegate work
